In Zhuangzi’s Free and Easy Wandering, he envisions a state of being at one with heaven and earth:
“To ride upon the truth of heaven and earth, harnessing the transformations of the six breaths, and wander in the infinite—what need would such a one have for anything else?”
In this work, I did not paint a dragon, but rather guided it into emergence:
like a free spirit unfurling through boundless time and space.
As in my act of painting—dancing in silence—only when I forget who I am can I encounter who I truly am.
