“One gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three to all things.”
This simplest of structures is also the origin of the Cloudsea Series.
Perfect for a quiet corner, it brings a sense of ease and romance, like drifting clouds or flowing waves.
Born from drifting clouds and rolling waves, the Cloudsea Series transforms light into flowing sculptures.
Each piece carries the rhythm of nature—sometimes gentle as floating clouds, sometimes bold as rising tides.
They are not just lampshades, but living presences, breathing with space and time.
Depending on the angle of suspension, “Floating In the Air” can tilt gracefully left or right.
In my process, I never begin with sketches. Instead, I let imagination flow, guided by intention,
colliding with the material, sparking moments of creation.
I shape stainless steel wires into flowing, rhythmic structures that compose the gestures of light.
Each form is covered with raw fabric, hand-stitched with patience — a quiet practice of mindfulness and the path of art.
Finally, layers of acrylic paint are brushed onto the surface, blending color and luminosity into harmony and beauty.
Materials: stainless steel wire, unbleached cotton, acrylic paint
Dimensions: approx. 73 × 54 × 57 cm
**“Floating In the Air” is a large-scale artwork. In principle, it is only available for self pickup.**
