The Earth revolves around the Sun. The Moon revolves around the Earth.
When every rotation, every orbit, spirals into a single point —
what remains, in the end, of everything a lifetime holds?
It is a light, sweeping swiftly across the vast river of stars.
It is every moment of being. It is the time we meet.
"Moonlight" is a minimalist form, built from three circles.
From different angles, it reveals different shapes —
like the moon's waxing and waning,
like the sorrows and joys that come and go in every life.
Process
In the process of creation, I become a vessel —
letting the image flow, my hands shaping the work with each moment's inspiration, following the light.
Using flexible stainless steel wire, I trace the rhythm of an unending spiral, composing the posture of light.
Then comes the raw, unbleached fabric — stitched thread by thread, a meditation, a practice of the Art Way.
Finally, acrylic paint is layered on, bringing rich color into the light.
