Painted in Amsterdam in 2014, this work arose in my early years of creation. A stranger in a foreign land, I searched for my own rhythm of life and the edges of freedom.
Here, I sought to merge Eastern mythic imagery with the language of contemporary abstraction, bridging inner spirit with higher dimensions, creating a mysterious, vast, and surreal dreamscape.
Upon the unknown sea, twin dragons surge through waves, chasing the sun without end—like myself then, eager to prove my passion and courage.
That devotion to art is embodied in the act of painting: each stroke carrying not only flowing lines and rich colors, but also the pull of energy, the download of inspiration.
Golden lines trace shimmering scales and dazzling waves beneath the sun, resembling unseen life forms, or streams of consciousness in motion.
Two forces run wild yet remain in sync, dancing together, weaving a beauty of balance and opposition.
What do the twin eyes behold? Perhaps an endless expanse of time and space—or simply the eternal present, where self and world merge as one.
